Familyhood Champions is a network of Oklahomans, including local leaders and organizations, committed to strengthening families. They support the statewide Familyhood Initiative, boosting Oklahoma Human Services' capacity to serve individuals and families. Through training in evidence-based curricula, individuals can access knowledge and resources to build adult and youth capacity.
Familyhood will support Champions through resources, guidance, and ongoing communication to address challenges, share knowledge and sustain engagement.
Expand Familyhood services to build a powerful statewide network that strengthens and uplifts Oklahoma families.
Provide targeted, evidence-based training to help individuals and organizations strengthen family services and support human service providers in meeting the needs of individuals and families.
Create a network of professionals who wish to support the work of Familyhood and service delivery through referrals and community-based connections.
Familyhood provides free training opportunities that equip individuals to lead group-based workshops within their organizations and/or communities.
We’ll share research-based content — proven strategies to strengthen families and drive change in your community.
We’ll provide all materials needed — for both the curriculum training and any subsequent workshops — free of charge.
You'll receive technical assistance after your training, ensuring you’re equipped to successfully deliver workshops.
You’ll have access to additional tools, materials and resources to help you maximize the impact of your workshops.
